It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roland S. Smith of Lakemont, Georgia, who passed away on August 13, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Smith and Julia Smith (West); and his wife Thelma Shirley. He is survived by: his children, Betty Bleckley (Terry) of Clayton and Dewey Smith of North Carolina; and his granddaughters, Jessica Montgomery and Leslie Bleckley. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
