He was predeceased by: his father William Lee Higdon; and his brother Scotty Higdon. He is survived by: his wife Faye; his son Lynn Higdon (Angela Gravitt); his grandchildren, Brandon Higdon (LeeAnn), Billy Higdon (Leanne) and Lindsey Higdon (Daniel); his sisters, Julie Houston (Larry) and Mary McCurry; and his siblings-in-law, Billy Hughes (Lytha), Phyllis Dale of Franklin and Judy Anderson (Lynn) of Warsaw, NC.. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
