Rabon J. Fender Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rabon J. Fender (Lakeland, Georgia), who passed away on June 23, 2019 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clifford Fender and Dorothy Fender (Westberry); his wife Vonda Faye Fender; his siblings, James Fender and Ann Fender Walker; his grandson Lawrence Hickman; his son-in-law Wesley Rogers; his son Donald R.; his daughter-in-law Tami Lynn Fender of Lakeland, GA; his children, Sherry Fender James of Statenville, GA, Tina Fender Hickman (Bryan) of Ray, OH and Dwayne L. Fender of Lake Park, GA; his grandchildren, Robert Ryan Fender, Anthony Gage Fender, Megan Lynn Marks (Caleb), Leslie Sealey (Brian), Tyler Rogers, Aaron Rogers, Ty Hickman, Austin Hunter Fender and Landon Tyson Fender; his great grandchildren, Everette, Barrett, Blaine, Drew, Madison, Kelsee and Wesley; his brother Alton Knocker Fender (Brenda) of Dupont, GA; his grandmother Jean Strickland of Statenville, GA; his sister Peggy Commander of Statenville, GA; and his nephew Larry Scooter Fender of Dupont, GA. He was also cherished by Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Extended family.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
