He was predeceased by: his brother Jimmy J. Long. He is survived by: his wife Tina Royals Long of Nashville; his daughter Christina Russell of South Carolina; his son-in-law Steven Russell of South Carolina; his son Joseph Keys Long III of Wilmington, NC; his stepsons, Brandon Bradford (Amanda), Daniel Ethridge (Thresa) and Hahira; his grandchildren, Sherry Long, Samantha Gene Long, Joseph Keys Long, IV, Luke Bradford, Makenna Bradford and Chloe Bradford; his parents-in-law, Wanda Royals of Lakeland and Donald Royals of Nashville; his siblings, Nancy Domroe of Wilmington, NC, Mike Gillespie, Linda Brownly and Johnny Long of Tennessee; his sister-in-law Chris; and also, Nancy Ireland of Bayboro, NC, Barbara Long of Tennessee, Becky Royals, Lake Park, Steven Royals, Jay Richie, Aaron Chadwick and Mike Nitschke. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
