He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hurst and Annie Evelyn Jordan Hurst; his wife Betty Rose Bullard Hurst; and his former wife Emma Cribbs. He is survived by: his sisters, Joyce Cantrell of Adel, Diane Robertson of Clyattville and Carol Cubino of Barney, Georgia; and his close friend Geraldine Yeomans of Lakeland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lenox City Cemetery (601 W Colquitt Ave, Lenox, GA 31637).
