With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel Stone of Lakeland, Georgia, who passed away on March 5, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry Mathis and Jimmie Lou Clanton Mathis; her sons, Andy Phillips, Ronnie Phillips and Johnny Phillips; and her siblings, Shelby Jean Bailey, J. Henry Mathis, Johnny Mack Mathis, Charles Mathis, Larry Mathis, Gary Mathis and Jimmy Mathis.
She is survived by: her husband Wade Ronnie Stone of Lakeland, Georgia; her children, Robert Phillips of Lakeland, Georgia and Mary Lou Hall (Felton) of Hosford, Florida; her daughters-in-law, Julia Phillips of Lakeland and Missy Lee of Lakeland, Georgia; and her sisters, Betty Parrish of Lakeland and Mary Alice Stone of Lakeland, Georgia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
