She was predeceased by: her parents, Ava Nell and Kelsie Copeland. She is survived by: her sons, Mike Chason (Kris) of Tifton, Mitchell Chason (Judy) of Hahira and Tim Chason (Lynne) of Cartersville; her grandchildren, Dr. Tracy Chason (Kristin Tott) of Americus, David Chason (Jasmine) of Tybee Island, Jennifer Woolbright (James) of Columbus, Brandon Chason (Monica) of Villa Rica and Dr. Kelsey Stanford (Daniel) of Fort Valley; her stepgrandchildren, Craig Hunt (Amy) of Greenville, S. C. and Amanda Meeks (Brett) of Tifton; her great grandchildren, Brody Chason, Will, Madison Woolbright, Jack, Asher, Ellie Ruth Chason and Copeland Stanford; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Haley, Patrick Gentry, Emma Miles, Sam, Caroline Hunt, Lainey and Hunter Collier; her brothers, Bobby Copeland of Valdosta and Ben Copeland (Lavonne) of Lake Park; and her caregivers, Lisa Bailey, Gueni Gaskins, Joanne Lee, Monty Ray and Jimmy Reynolds. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
