She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Connor and Dorothy Bernatchez (Leno); her husband Gordon Sandberg; her brothers, Bobby Connor and George B. "Chuck" Connor; her sons, Gordon J. Sandberg of Massachusetts, Paul E. Sandberg of Texas and John Sandberg of Wisconsin; her sisters-in-law, Ginger Griffis of Lakeland, GA, Charlotte Connor and Norma Connor; and her close friend Nona Bessent. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother.
