It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Alvin Conine of Lakeland, Georgia, born in Valdosta, Georgia, who passed away on September 3, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid David Alvin farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For David Alvin is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Chester Conine and Elizabeth Ruth Conine (Nix); and his wife Faye Beth Conine (Hinesley). He is survived by: his sister Nancy Genese Conine of Lakeland, Georgia; his nieces, Amanda Giddens of Lakeland, Christa Shaw (Sam) of Lakeland and Lydia Cone (Dusty) of Lake Park, Georgia; and his sister-in-law Judy Allison of Watkinsville, Georgia. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews.
His contributions to the church and his warm, generous spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
