It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Anne Bennett of Lakeland, Georgia, born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on May 19, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Cornelius Bennett and Mary Frances Martin Bennett; and her great grandchild Aiden Miley. She is survived by: her son Joseph; her daughter-in-law Kim Johnson of Lakeland; her daughter Jessica Johnson Miley of Nashville, Georgia; her grandchildren, Chance Miley, Hannah Miley, Jada Miley, Brooke Johnson, Jenna Johnson and Logan Johnson; her great grandchildren, Farrah Miley and Cali Miley; and her siblings, Donna Smith of Sparks, Mike Bennett of Adel and Debra Schreck (Steve) of Valdosta.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in memory of Cheri be made to the American Eagle Foundation (eagles.org) in support of Cheri's love for eagles.
