He was predeceased by: his father Mathew Tomlinson; his wife Marie Maughon Tomlinson; and his sister Eloise Gaskins. He is survived by: his children, Scott Tomlinson (Patti) of Cobb, Georgia and Susan Beale (Wade) of Valdosta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Jeremy White, Andrew White, Mathew Tomlinson, Jr. (Melanie), John Tomlinson (Erica), Lauren Mickle (Grant), Seth Tomlinson and Will Tomlinson; and his great grandchildren, Anson, Emma, Lanie, Iris, Jaxson, Jack Henry, Mathew III, Louis and Silas.
