He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Addington Stewart of Lakeland, Georgia; his son Randy Lee Stewart of Lakeland, Georgia; his grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn of Lakeland, Samantha Jean of Morgantown, Kentucky and Brian Matthew of Medford, Oregon; and his sisters, Helen Wilbanks of Atlanta and Mae Shelnut of Atlanta, Georgia. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
