With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Faye Thompson of Lake Park, Georgia, born in Crab Orchard, Tennessee, who passed away on December 19, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Elmer Harley Thompson; her son Kenneth Brooks; and her siblings, Dewey Thompson, Andrew Thompson, Lonnie Thompson and Cheryl Dixon.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Dean Brooks (Carol) and Brenda Lennett Schaffer (Scott) of Suwannee, TN; her grandchildren, Casey Thompson of Crab Orchard, TN and Samantha Lutz; her great grandchildren, Alex Thompson and Joey Thompson of LaFollette, TN; her siblings, Redgie Thompson (Ann) of Crossville, TN, Stephen Thompson, Sr. of Jacksonville, FL, Leroy Thompson of Lee, FL, Mary Anderson and Elieleen Fawnestock (Don) of Crab Orchard, TN; and her sisters-in-law, Jenith Thompson, JoAnn Thompson and Marie Thompson.
