It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Mitchell Dowling of Lake Park, Georgia, born in Valdosta, Georgia, who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James, Susie Dowling, Ed and Hattie Starling. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Dowling of Lake Park; his sons, Kyle (Megan Dowling) and Tyler Dowling of Lake Park; his grandchildren, Madelynn Dowling and Mitchell Dowling of Lanesville, Indiana; his parents, Jack Dowling and Maggie Dowling; his brother Bert; his sister-in-law Christy Dowling; his sister Vicky of Lake Park; his brother-in-law Ernie King of Lake Park; and his brother Joel Dowling of Atlanta. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and/or the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
