He is survived by: his wife Wynell Tomlinson Spells of Mayday; his children, Lisa Spells Harrington of Savannah and Lamar; his daughter-in-law Diane Spells of Dunwoody; his grandchildren, Ben Spells, Elizabeth Harrington and Emma Claire Harrington; his sister Linda Sue Taylor of Interlachen, FL; and his sister-in-law Ann Spells of Valdosta.
