He is survived by: his wife Kelly Yates of Lake Park, GA; his children, Makayla Yates of Athens, GA and Coleman Yates of Annapolis, MD; his mother Martha Yates Darity (John) of Tennille, GA.; his siblings-in-law, Heather Yates of Sandersville, GA, Dina and Tommy Lederer of Matthews, NC; his mother-in-law Cheryl Daken (Bill); and his nieces and nephews, Jeff Hammer, Ava Lederer, Ella Lederer, Peyton Yates, Mallorie Yates, Elizabeth Dean Yates and John West Yates.
