He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Davis and Louise Warren Davis; his brother Jack Davis; and his son-in-law Stephen Cain. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Reardon Davis of Lake Park, Georgia; his children, Jimmy C. Davis, Jr. of Lake Park, Connie Sandlin (Don) of Lake Park and Julie Cain of Valdosta; his grandchildren, Tabitha Barber (Jason), Jim Davis-Johnson (Rickey), Jessie Pruitt (Michael), Heather Strickland and Ashley Strickland; his great grandchildren, Paisley Barber, Maris Barber, Merida Barber, Hudson Pruitt, Avery Pruitt and Rhett Strickland; his brother Johnny Davis (Linda) of Metter, Georgia; and his sister-in-law Andi Davis of Lake Park, Georgia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sardis Baptist Church (128 Barney Rd, Lake Park, GA 31636). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at the Carter Cemetery (390 Corbett Ln, Lake Park, GA 31636).
