He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dolphus (Pete) and Mary Anny Crews. He is survived by: his grandparents, Joe, Pat Keene and Viola Williams; his wife Deanna (Wade); his parents, Joseph Jackson Crews Sr. (Joe) and Viola Crews (Boogie); his siblings, Joseph Crews Jr. (Jody), Solomon Crews (Sol), Richard Crews (Summer), Shanandoah (Suzy) and Glickman (Thomas); his father-in-law Tony Wade; and his brothers, Daniel (Taylor Wade), Don (Laura Pace) and Charles Burch.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home (600 Oakwood St, Folkston, GA 31537). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers or memorials, consider going outside and taking a walk barefoot in the grass, laying under the stars on a mountaintop, taking care of my Deanna or my loved ones, and make sure they never feel alone; going on a road trip with your family, taking care of what you have so you will always be able to appreciate it, keeping your knives sharp and your heart open, and living life as big as you can.
