She was predeceased by: her parents, Idus McCurry and Florine Shoffett McCurry; her husbands, Leon Presnal and John Heath; her son Terry Presnal; her great grandchild Austin Phillip Smith; her sons-in-law, Jerry Wayne Haynes, Charles Smith and Ray White; her father-in-law Lon (Eva Presnal); her brothers, Thomas McCurry, H. T. McCurry (Ophelia) and Harold McCurry (Doris); and her brothers-in-law, Eddie Quinlan and Ernest Dukes Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Smith, Susan White and Jerry Presnal (Sheryl); her daughter-in-law Sandra Presnal; her grandchildren, James Smith (Kimberly), Phillip Smith, Kimberly Ford (Jason), Diane Messel, Jimmy Haynes (Mandi), Angela Doss (Jason), Lisa Pye (Chesley), Crysti Williams (Mike), Shelly Langley (Brandon), Kelly Cavender, Tammy Bailey (Sammy) and Tracie Turner (Joe); her great grandchildren, Noah Smith (Tori) of Jaxson Robinson, P. J, Braswell, James Braswell (Sierra), Brandon Haynes (Emily), Bryce Haynes (Chasity), Brett Haynes (Alyssa), Allison Doss, Braxdon Langley, Leona Langley, Preslee Langley, Drew Cavender, Madison Cavender (Dakota), Bo Moore (Brianna), Zack Tyler (Allyson), Reece Pye (Hannah), Jesi Pye (Will), Shael Baugh (Anthony), Jess Messel, Shawn Messel and Samantha Messel; and her siblings, Ernest McCurry (Lucy), Jackie Dukes, Emily Jacobs and Vera Quinlan. She is also survived by twelve great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home (506 Hill St, LaGrange, GA 30241). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Faith Baptist Church (552 Hammett Rd, LaGrange, GA 30241).
