He was predeceased by: his parents, William Grover Pound and Lillian Gertrude Beck Pound; his former wife Belinda Sue Pound; and his brother Thomas Pound. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Young Pound; his sons, William Eric Pound (Dana) and Michael Brand Pound (Christy); his sisters, Becky Garrett and Brenda Mills (Larry); his grandchildren, William Robert Pound, Sally Rae Pound and Jacob Ryan Pound; and his stepchildren, Tim, Maria Robinson, Terry, Joanna Robinson, Ken, Teresa Cadenhead and Tanya Elise Robinson. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home (506 Hill St, LaGrange, GA 30241). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Restlawn Memory Gardens (2098 Mooty Bridge Rd, LaGrange, GA 30241).
