He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Berry Chaney and Vilene L. Henson Chaney. He is survived by: his wife Donna K. Swanson Chaney; his daughters, Amanda Tumambing (Andy), Meagan Gately (James) and Allie Kokmeyer (Lucas); and his grandchildren, Gage Tumambing, Ansleigh Tumambing, Tyler Gately, Zoey Gately, Kaylin Gately and Easton Kokmeyer. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Troup County Foster Parent Association- troupfoster.org in memory of Mark Chaney.
