It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Carylon Peterson (LaGrange, Georgia), who passed away on November 16, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lewis Peterson and Ida Belle Broome Peterson; and her sisters, Arrie Lee Peterson, Sara Dorthy Peterson and Mattie L. Peterson-Harris.

She is survived by: her children, Tracy Peterson of LaGrange, GA, Joe Lewis Peterson, Jr., Stanley Peterson (Debbie) of Woodridge, VA and Kevin L. Peterson; her grandchildren, LaQuada Brewer of LaGrange, GA, Jeana Lauderdale (Lamar) of Evans, GA, Tyeshia Peterson of LaGrange, GA, Keishia Peterson of LaGrange, GA and Bradley Peterson of Indianapolis, IN; and her brother George W. Peterson. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
