It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil Williams (LaGrange, Georgia), who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Williams and Inell Dunton Williams; his wife Mattie Kate Williams; and his siblings, Pearlie Williams, Nona Harrison and Freddie Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Curtis Williams (Twanda), Jarvis W. Barnes, Dr. Janice E. Williams, Dr. Vanessa L. Williams and Anthony J. Williams (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Kenji Williams, Robin Barnes, Steven Williams, Reynelda Blankumsee (Kendall), Morgan Boykin, Melody Williams, Breeanna Williams and Dr. Tommy Boykin II (Xigrid); his brothers, Willie Paul Williams and Eddie Joe Williams (Louise); and his sister-in-law Willie Mae Williams-Callaway. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
