He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Joseph Neely; his brother Monte Neely; and his family Georgia. He is survived by: his mother Sharon Nanette Statham Neely; his wife Melinda "Gail" Neely; his sons, TJ Neely and Michael Neely; and his brothers, Mark Neely (Kelly Jo) and Matt Neely (Gary Moody).

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary (1010 Mooty Bridge Rd, LaGrange, GA 30240).
