With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thelma Jean Nissen (LaGrange, Georgia), born in Franklin, Georgia, who passed away on February 12, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Humphrey Hood and Celia Mae Webb Mackey; and her husband Larry Dean Nissen. She is survived by: her children, Michael Nissen and Michelle; her son-in-law Chris Payne; her grandchildren, Ashlyn, Dustin, Charles and Samuel; her great grandchildren, Garrett and Kayla; and her sister Betty Moon (Derry Berry). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
