He was predeceased by: his parents, Acer Hill and Hattie Hill; and his father-in-law Willie Swanson. He is survived by: his wife Willie Mae Hill; his children, Denise Hill of Macon, GA, Janet Hill of Macon, GA, Curtis Swanson (Rebecca) of LaGrange, GA, Emanuel Swanson (Laytoya) of Valley, AL, Veronica Simpson (David) of West Point, GA and Crystal Swanson of LaGrange, GA; his mother-in-law Essie Mae Swanson; and his siblings-in-law, Rosa McCord (Harvey), Willie Swanson (Rosa), Joe Swanson and John Swanson (Linda). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home (100 Corporate Plaza Dr, LaGrange, GA 30241). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
