He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Overton and Susie Irene Davis Overton; and his wife Janice Deliah Overton. He is survived by: his children, James Overton (Tina), David Overton (Cassie), Janet Gore (Mike), Rebecca Morrison (Mike), Wiley Hammonds Jr. (Linda Tomblin) and Kattie Melisa McLeod. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 sisters; 1 brother; several other relatives and friends.
