She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Ben Calhoun and Nellie Margaret Calhoun; her husband Paul Hugh Espy Sr.; her daughter-in-law Susan Plant Espy; and her sister Mary Nell McWhorter.
She is survived by: her sons, Paul Hugh Espy Jr. and Michael Espy; her grandchildren, Crystal Espy Thompson (Greg), Tracy Espy Lewis (Andy), Paul Hugh Espy III (Kim) and Bryan Espy (Nikki); her great grandchildren, Collin Hendrix, Carter Hendrix, Hannah Espy, Hugh Espy, Sadie Grace Thompson, Janie Espy, Levi Espy, Hunter Espy and Cooper Mezcik; and her siblings, Elizabeth Edmonds (Lee) and David Calhoun.
