He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Jones and Carrie Adell Hornsby Jones; and his siblings, Bill Jones, Harold Jones and Marion Jones Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Glimerene Allen Jones; his sons, Samuel Roger Jones, Jr. (Gayla) and Richard William Jones; and his sister Micki Jones Werner (Wayne). He is also survived by four great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Lebanon Christian Church, Roanoke, AL in memory of Minister Samuel Roger Jones, Sr.
