It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Johnson Hubbard in LaGrange, Georgia, who passed away on October 22, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Johnson and Artie Mae Hatchett Johnson; and her siblings, Willie E. Pattillo, Obie Robinson, Herbert Johnson and Harvey Johnson.

She is survived by: her daughter Dejauii Eason (James); her siblings, Thelma Flowers, Gertrude Simpson, Myrtis Williams (Earl), Norris Johnson (Joyce), Henderson Johnson (Ruthie) and Lawrence Johnson (Judy); and her children, Walter Hubbard, Jr. (Ruby), Roy Davidson (Johanna), Artur Davidson (Lona) and Jarvis Jones. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
