With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Cato (LaGrange, Georgia), who passed away on February 17, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Byrd and Alice Cato Earl; his brothers, Jessie Earl and Raymond Byrd; and his brother-in-law Reuben Poole.
He is survived by: his nephew Justin "Jay" Earl; his wife Estelle Capers Cato; his daughter Daphne Cato; and his siblings, Joe Ann Poole, Terry Earl (Brenda), Lavone Earl, Larry Earl, Mary Earl, David Earl and Kenneth Byrd. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
