He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Hooks and Madge Landman Hooks. He is survived by: his wife June Wheatley Hooks; his children, Valarie Paige Hooks, Ronald Wade Hooks and Kelly Lynn Hooks; his sister Jeanette Sands; his granddaughter Emily Peyton; his great grandchild Kellan Jaid; and also, Whitney Marie Emberlin and Lucas Hooks. He is also survived by Neighbors; nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home (506 Hill St, LaGrange, GA 30241). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
