He is survived by: his wife Faye; his children, Mandi Benefield Hutchins (Paul), Christi Benefield Jones (Bruce), Angela Coleman (Chad) and Sheila Burns (Scott); his siblings, Rev. Donnie Benefield (Brenda), Pat Gaston (Larry), Diane Roberts (Bob), Angie Hamil (Lamar) and Sharon Matinec (Jack); his brother-in-law Dale Hart; his grandchildren, Brian Hutchins (Andrea), LeslieAnn Cruse (Alex), Montana Jones, Angela Kaye Harper, Sadie Ford (Brandon) and Steven Truett; his great grandchildren, Mason Cruse, Rose Cruse, Charlie Cruse, Emily Hutchins and Madeline Hutchins; and his pets, Ella Mae and Little Bit.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (3731 W Point Rd, LaGrange, GA 30240). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
