He was predeceased by: his parents, Addie Bell Honeycutt and Jasper McClain. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Russell; his children, Tameka Alexander (Marlon) of LaGrange, Karen Russell (James Raliegh) of LaGrange, Robert Russell, Jr. of LaGrange and Carlishua Russell of Dallas, GA; his stepson Byron Moss Truitt of Temple; his grandchildren, Marquavious Boddie (Jerika), Brandon Boddie (MaKayla), Ja'Vontay Boddie, M'yIeshia Russell, I, Darius Derring and Marquise Russell; his brother Lorenza Russell (Virginia) of West Point, GA; his mother-in-law Velma Truitt; his cousin Evelynn Webb of Birmingham, AL; and his friends, Deacon Irvin and Sis.
