He was predeceased by: his wife Gail Nixon; and his father James Emory Nixon. He is survived by: his sons, Ricky Nixon, Jr. (Amy Hyatt Nixon) of LaGrange and Andy Nixon (Amy Cummings Nixon) of Roanoke, AL; his mother Myrtle Nixon of LaGrange; his brother Jeff Nixon (Lynn) of LaGrange; his grandchildren, Brice (Cameron), Brett (Kaitlyn), Megan and Hayden; and his great grandchildren, Oaklynn, Lainey Jo and Sawyer.
