She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Mitchell and Fannie Lee Pouley Mitchell; her husband Ervin J. Arrington; her sons, Roy Arrington and Jimmy Roger Arrington; and her siblings, Tim Mitchell and Alice Burdette.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Arrington Brown (Roger E. Brown) and Tony C. Arrington (Cathy); her siblings, Elbert Mitchell (Eline), Murtis Johnson, Jean Carroll, Opal Taylor, Sue Riley (David) and Doris Sherman (Jim); and her grandchildren, Charles Brown, Linda Arrington, Jennifer Allen, Joe Arrington, Wendy Bragg, T. C. Arrington, Corey Shephard and Christy Beam. She is also survived by her 21 great grandchildren, her 10 great-great grandchildren.
