She was predeceased by: her parents, Cary Smith and Evelena Smith; her husband Lewis Button; her children, Walter Lee Smith, Gloria Ann Burton and Angie Denise Smith; her grandson Tangy Harris; her great grandchild Trevion Crump; and her siblings, Bessie Kate Truitt, RJ Smith, Willie Joe Smith, Leroy Smith, Katherine Smith, Ruden Davenport, Mary L. Smith and Ethel Middleton.

She is survived by: her children, Louris Burton of Ellenwood, GA, Johnnie L. Williams and Ruby Stargell of LaGrange, GA; her grandchildren, Jamal Burton, Everette Williams, Michael Crowley, Twalise Moss, Pinky Talley, Calvin Fannin, Fletcher Burton, Terrance Stargell II, Meagan Stargell, Jeremi Stargell, Austin Stargell, Cameron Stargell, Erick Smith, Cornelius Smith and Derrick Smith; her great grandchildren, Devin Smith, Emory Smith, Zyanna Jackson and Keenan Griffin; her siblings, Jimmy Smith, Gloria Smith and Ollie Dailey; her niece Linda Smith; and her sister-in-law Geneva Smith.
