Mildred Gates Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Gates (LaGrange, Georgia), who passed away on September 23, 2019 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Pauline Stowers and Horace Reese. She is survived by: her daughter April Michelle Gates of LaGrange; her godchildren, Carlos Mon and Jakhia Copeland of LaGrange; her sisters, Pauline Reese of Adairsville, Paulette Reese of Cartesville, Rena Curtis (Dwight) of Calhoun and Mary Ann Ponder (Greg) of Acworth; her stepbrother Willie Harris (Linda) of Rome; her close friend Josephine Dallas of LaGrange; and her niece Janice Garret of Fayetteville. She is also survived by one Aunt and Uncle, two sisters-in-law, three brothers in law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
