It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Julian Baker (LaGrange, Georgia), born in Opelika, Alabama, who passed away on December 17, 2019, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandmother Ida Askew Sullivan Blythe; and his great-aunt Maybeth Fagan. He is survived by: his father Julian C. Baker; his brother Martin "Marty" R. Baker (Katherine); his nephews, Charlie Baker and Max Baker; and his aunts, Ann S. Ortega, Susan Humphries, Floy McGarity (Mike) and Barbara Shaver. He is also survived by cousins, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Mike Baker to the Human Society of Harris County or Goldsboro Soup Kitchen in NC.
