She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas McDuffy Hunter and Ida Harmon Hunter; and her husband Grady Eugene Stephens. She is survived by: her children, Donald Stephens (Isabel), Robert Stephens and Patricia Stephens McCormick; her grandsons, David Alford and Bobby Stephens; her great grandchildren, Aidyn Alford-Baily, Tucker Alford, Lucas Alford, Elizabeth Stephens, Delilah Stephens and Sophia Stephens; and her brother Thomas Hunter, Jr..

In lieu of flowers contribution may be made to the American Cancer Society or Georgia Sheriffs Youth Homes, 2048 Youngs Mill Road, LaGrange, GA 30241.
