She is survived by: her husband Tommy Eugene Griggs, Sr.; and her children, Deborah Griggs Simpson, Tommy Eugene Griggs, Jr. (Vanessa), Alfredo A. Griggs (Pamela), Alton Owens Griggs (Ann), Bernard Lee Griggs, Darrell Dewayne Griggs (Mary) and Latoy Yulander Griggs. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
