He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Wright Green and Julene Evelyn "Johnnie" Johnson Green. He is survived by: his wife Donna Hubbard Green; his children, Jeremy Green (Shevie), Ashlan Ludden (Lanny), Chris Arnett (Lindsay) and Dewayne Arnett (Sami); his brothers, David Green (Janice) and Randy Green (Andrea); and his pet Oscar. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home (506 Hill St, LaGrange, GA 30240). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 4:00 PM.
