He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierce and Earnestine Allen, Sr.; his daughter Shaniqua Allen; and his brothers, Timothy Allen and William Cherry.

He is survived by: his siblings, Gloria Stargell, Patricia E. Leath, Felicia Nelson, Loretta Allen, Pearce Allen, Jr. and Paul Allen; his nieces and nephews, Sabrina Stargill, Katrina Goss (Wayne), Paulett Coleman (Kenny), Erica Jones, LaShondra Jones, Jennifer (Scotty), Johnson, Shamika Allen, Holle Leath, Clarissa Allen, Benjamin Leath, Jarvis Allen and Malcolm Leath; his aunts, Barbara Flowers, Ida Nelson and Katherine Nelson; his stepson Christiansen Grier; and his close friend Patrice Reed. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.
