She was predeceased by: her husband Harvey "Bishop" McCord; and her siblings, Pierce "Junior" Andrews, Jr. of Lillian Hubbard, A. P., Dorothy "Doll Meat" Houston, Roosevelt "George" Andrews and Wallace Joe "Pop" Andrews.
She is survived by: her grandsons, De'Aundre and Chapez; her children, Alton McCord (Yolanda) of Lanett, AL, Debra Johnson of LaGrange, GA, Carolyn Johnson (Richard) of Atlanta, GA, Paulette Gaither (Josh) of Newnan, GA, Harvey McCord, Jr. (Rosa) of LaGrange, GA and Angela McCord of LaGrange, GA; her grandchildren, Tanika Nicholas, LaTeshia Warren (Vernon), Miracle McCord, Kokeithia Dennis (Jimmy), Bridgett Copeland, Rodrick Johnson, Keshia Edmondson (Jay), Antonica Lee, Travis Lee (Sadie), Fernandez Lee and Ivory Lee; her sisters, Annie Lee Borkman of Chattanooga, TN, Sylvia Jean Jackson of Chattanooga, TN, Blanche Hudson of LaGrange, GA and Virginia Andrews of LaGrange, GA; her sister-in-law Pearl Pender of Philadelphia, PA; and her friends, Leete Hill Methodist Church, Ebenezer Baptist Church, Springfield Baptist Church and Zion Hill Baptist Church. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home (100 Corporate Plaza Dr, LaGrange, GA 30241). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church (1111 E 10th St, West Point, GA 31833).
