It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lera Cochran (LaGrange, Georgia), who passed away on October 17, 2019, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elonzo May and Nona Todd May; her husband Gilbert Cochran; and her siblings, William Lewis May, E. L. May, Jr., Bonnie Weldon May and Doris May Pittman.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Womble of LaGrange, Larry Cochran (Jenny) of Wilmore and Wes Cochran (Missy) of LaGrange; her sibling Carmen May Schindelholz; and her great grandchildren, Isabel Peterson, Ivy Peterson, Autumn Peterson, Elijah Cochran, David Cochran, Grace Cochran, Josie Cochran, Stella Cochran, Mabel Cochran, Garrett Womble, Abby Womble and Bentley Womble. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
