She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Sanders and Cordie Davis Sanders; and her former husband Joe Edward Hall. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Hester; her children, Patsy Darden (Glenn), Kathy Givins (Benny), Ben Hester (Ceola) and Jon Hester; and her grandchildren, Jed Darden (Susan), Cordie Beasley (Levi), Abbey Darden, Charley Givins, Kyle Hester (Alley), Kayla Starrett (Andrew) and Rhea Hester. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home (506 Hill St, LaGrange, GA 30241). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Resthaven Memorial (6415 Veterans Memorial Pkwy, Lanett, AL 36863).
