She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Ridley Edmondson and Tommie Lou Allen Edmondson. She is survived by: her cousin W. T. Edmondson; her children, Arthur James Simpson, Jr. (Rachel) and Seyphous Houston (Ammiee); her sister Priscilla Williams; and her aunts, Thomas Edmondson of Arizona and Grace Allen. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
