He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Jefferson Maddox and Lizzie Mae Tucker Maddox; his children, Cortney Jarmeka Maddox and Shakkienna Janaye Hayes; his grandchildren, Maurice Chavarski Avez Winston, Jr. and X'Zayvion A'Dore Hairston; his fiancée Mary Blackmon; his brother Marcus Maddox (Barbara); his aunts and uncles, Mattie Hammett, Sylvia Swanson, Grady Tucker, Jerome Tucker, Mark McClendon, Joe McClendon, Elizabeth Day, Marie Bruce, Annie Clyde Williams, George Jessie Maddox, John Willie Maddox and Samuel Smith; and his nieces and nephews, DeShawn Maddox, Cortez Williams, Jamarcus Maddox, Omar Brown (ShaQuana), Marquita Williams and Chiquita Partridge. He is also survived by twenty great nieces and great nephews; one great-great nephew; nineteen first cousins; and an array of relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home (100 Corporate Plaza Dr, LaGrange, GA 30241). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Pleaseant Cme Church (4153 Greenville Rd, LaGrange, GA 30240).
