As we bid Katherine farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Katherine is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl P. Cook Sr. and Katherine Tigner Cook of Gabbettville, GA.. She is survived by: her nieces, Edith "Cookie" Davis and Marilyn Cook Schwenk; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Bradley Davis, Laura Rubio, Katherine Rider and Max Schwenk.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Meals on Wheels at the Lagrange United Methodist Church.
