He was predeceased by: his sons, Julian McKinley Martin, III and Gregory Martin; and his siblings, Rosa Mae Huzzie, Wendell Martin and Leroy (Bobby Jean).
He is survived by: his son Eric; his wife Bernice; his children, Kathy Martin, Sonya Martin (Trevor Howard), Tondolaya and Jeffery Martin; his sister-in-law Linda Martin; and his close friends, James Roberts and Frank Gates. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
